  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. butter
  • 1 c. salted pecans
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine sugar, water, syrup and butter in a small deep saucepan.

    Cook over medium-low heat to 300° or hard crack stage. Add pecans and cook to 310°.

    Stir in soda, pour into lightly greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Let stand until cold and break into pieces.
