- 3 c. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 5 c. pecans
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Toast pecans in a 200° oven until warm.

2Set aside.

3Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 240°, then add pecans.

4Cook to 295°, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat.
-
6Add butter and stir until dissolved.

7Add soda and salt; stir vigorously.
-
8Pour out in butter greased pans.
-
9Spread as thinly as possible.
-
10Break into pieces when cooled.
