- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves, ground
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar and beat until fluffy.

2Add beaten eggs.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to butter mixture.

4Fold in pecans.

5Bake in a well-greased lightly floured tube pan (9-inch).

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until straw inserted comes out clean.

7Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing.

8This can be baked and stored for a couple of days.

9Keep cool.
