- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. pineapple
- 1 lb. pecans
- 1/2 oz. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, one at a time, and beat well.

2Add 2 cups flour alternately with lemon extract.

3Fold in chopped fruit and nuts, dredged with the last 2 cups flour.

4Fold in egg whites.

5Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
