- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 1/2 oz. bottle lemon extract
Directions

1Mix flour and baking powder with the candied fruits.

2Cream the butter and sugars together.

3Separate the eggs.

4Add the egg yolks and the flour mixture alternately with the lemon extract and pecans.

5Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.

7Let stand overnight.

8Next day, bake at 250° for 3 hours.
