- 3 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 5 cups pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, corn syrup & salt in a saucepan.

2Bring mixture to a boil.

3Add pecans & cook until soft ball stage (225 degrees).

4Remove from heat & add baking soda & vanilla.

5Beat vigorously until candy begins to cool & thickens.

6Pour into a greased 13x9-inch pan.

7When cool, cut into 1-inch squares.
