  • 16 c. popped corn
  • 5 c. pecan halves (or any nuts)
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix popcorn and nuts in large baking pan.

    In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla and baking soda.

    Pour over popcorn and nuts.

    Stir well.

    Bake in preheated 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
