Ingredients: 1 package of yellow cake mix; 4 large eggs; 1/2 cup butter melted; 1/2 cup packed brown sugar; 1/4 cup molasses; 1/4 cup light corn syrup; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 1 cup chopped pecans; 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

1 package of yellow cake mix
4 large eggs
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease and flour 9 X 13 baking pan.

1 cup cake mix in large bowl, set aside.

Combine remaining mix, 1 egg and melted butter. Press into 9 X 13 pan and bake for 15 minutes.

Beat remaining mix brown sugar, molassses, corn syrup, vanilla extract and 3 eggs on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. bake 25 - 30 minutes until firm. Cool and dust with powdered sugar (optional).
