Pecan Chocolate Chip Pie

- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tbsp. Kentucky bourbon or 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, partially baked
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add beaten eggs, flour, salt and bourbon or vanilla.

4Add chocolate chips and pecans.

5Stir well.

6Pour into partially baked pie shell and bake for 30 minutes or until center is set (up to 60 minutes).

7Serve with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.

8(It's better to cool pie well before serving and reheat in the microwave.)
