  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream Crisco and sugar. Add other ingredients and mix well. Set in refrigerator until dough is easy to roll. Roll into 3 or 4 log shaped rolls about 6-inches long. Wrap in Saran Wrap or wax paper and let stand in refrigerator until cold enough to slice thin. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
