  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients together, and chill for 1 hour. After chilling, add flour and pecans to first mixture.

    Shape into balls, about the size of a small marble.

    Place on cookie sheet and bake at 250° 1 hour.

    Roll in powdered sugar immediately after removing from oven.

    Yield: 90-100 small cookies.
