- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sesame seed
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 broiler fryer chickens, cut into serving pieces
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish and put into oven to melt.

3Combine buttermilk and egg. Combine flour, pecans, paprika, salt, pepper and sesame seed.

4Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk mixture, then place in plastic bag with flour mixture.

5Shake well to coat chicken lightly.

6Place skin-side down in baking dish; turn pieces to coat with butter. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until fork-tender and golden brown.

7Serves 8.
