- 1 c. pecans
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 1/2 c. cake flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 325°.

2Chop pecans rather coarsely.

3Cream butter and shortening until smooth, then beat in confectioners sugar gradually.

4Stir in flour thoroughly; add vanilla and pecans.

5Mix well.

6Roll in balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until delicately brown.

8Roll again in confectioners sugar.
