Ingredients

  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 Tbsp. grated bitter chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. whole pecan meats

Directions

    Boil ingredients to soft ball stage (242°).

    Set aside until cold, beat until creamy, then add nuts and pour into a pan.

    When cold, cut into squares.
