- 4 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1/2 lb. whole pecans
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Carnation canned milk
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except vanilla, including nuts.

2Bring to boil to 240° (very important).

3Cook 25 minutes.

4Add vanilla. Beat until very thick.

5Cut while warm.
