  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 lb. whole pecans
  • 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Carnation canned milk
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except vanilla, including nuts.

    Bring to boil to 240° (very important).

    Cook 25 minutes.

    Add vanilla. Beat until very thick.

    Cut while warm.
