- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. baking cocoa
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, beat the first eight ingredients until smooth.

2Stir in nuts; pour into pie shell.

3Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until set.

4Cool completely.

5Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
