  • 1 1/4 sticks butter
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. ice water
  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add water and vanilla; blend.

    Cut in flour with nuts and salt.

    Mix into a ball of dough, then roll in small finger size.

    Bake in slow oven (250°) for about 1 hour. Roll in powdered sugar while hot.
