- 1 large egg white
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 3 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Beat egg white until frothy; add salt.

2Add sugars to beaten egg white; blend well.

3Add nuts and stir lightly to coat.

4Lift halves individually with fork and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 200° on upper shelf of oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

5Turn and switch pan to lower shelf and bake 10 to 15 minutes.

6Because ovens cook differently, watch carefully to avoid burning.

7Let cool in oven with door propped open.

8Remove from pan with spatula.
