Pecan Nut Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together the cream cheese, flour and butter by hand until dough does not stick to sides of bowl.

    Refrigerate until well chilled.

    Mix remaining ingredients.

    Take dough from refrigerator and shape into miniature muffin tins as shells.

    Do not grease tins.

    Put a spoonful of nut filling into each shell.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Cool in tins; sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Makes 24 cookies.
