  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour (plain)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix first six ingredients.

    Spread on greased cookie sheet. Mix egg white and sugar.

    Spread on mixture.

    Add chopped nuts evenly.

    Press in batter lightly.

    Bake at 250° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

    Cut while warm.
