  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. clear syrup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 pie crust

    Combine sugar, margarine and eggs, one at a time.

    Beat to mix well.

    Add salt, vanilla and syrup.

    Mix well.

    Put pecans in crust and pour mixture in crust.

    Bake until done, about 1 1/4 hours at 300°.
