- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. Karo waffle syrup
- 1/2 stick margarine, softened
- 3 whole eggs, beaten
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 partially cooked deep dish pie crust
Directions

1Put sugar in medium sized bowl, add softened margarine, blend, add syrup and well beaten eggs.

2Mix well by hand (do not use electric mixer).

3Add pecans and pour in partially cooked pie crust.

4Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.

5Reduce to 200° and bake for 1 hour.

6The slow baking keeps the nuts from getting too hard.

7For 2 regular crust pies use 1 and 1/2 recipe.

8My son-in-law says this is the best pecan pie ever!!
