  • pastry for 1 crust 9-inch pie, unbaked
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. pecan halves
  • whipped cream

    Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry.

    Beat eggs.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Fill pastry lined pan.

    Bake in preheated slow oven (300°) for 1 hour or until barely set.
