  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped (or halves)
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Cook sugar and syrup to 228°.

    Beat eggs well.

    Add melted butter to syrup.

    Add hot syrup slowly to beaten eggs.

    Bake about 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
