- 28 light caramels
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 pie shell
Directions

1Heat caramels in double boiler until sauce is smooth.

2Mix beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla together and add to caramel sauce.

3Add pecans.

4Put in unbaked pie shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

5Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 20 minutes.
