  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. melted oleo
  • 1/4 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish or 1 (10-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Cream together the syrup and sugar.

    Add oleo and salt.

    Mix well and add eggs; beat for 150 strokes.

    Add pecans and mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake in moderate oven

    (325°) for 40 minutes or until done.
