- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Directions

1Cream shortening to soft, add sugar and cream until light and fluffy, add syrup and salt; beat well.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well each time.

3Stir in pecan halves.

4Pour into unbaked shell.

5Bake in 350° oven for 50 minutes.
