- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 16 pecan halves (for garnish)
Directions

1Beat eggs and sugar together until well blended.

2Add butter, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and chopped pecans and mix thoroughly. Pour into prepared unbaked pie shell.

3Bake until filling is set. Bake about 1 1/4 hours at 350°.

4Use 10 1/2-inch pie plate.
