  • 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine and blend well the butter, sugar, flour and salt; add eggs, then corn syrup and milk.

    Stir in nuts and vanilla.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 50 minutes.
