  • 1 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 to 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. light syrup
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. self-rising flour

    butter until smooth.

    Then add syrup, eggs and pecans.

    Add vanilla last.

    Mix well and pour into cooked pie shells.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat

    and bake at 300° for 25 minutes or until firm.
