  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 9-inch pie crust
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans, broken
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Mix eggs, syrup, sugar, shortening, milk and salt in large bowl.

    (Do not beat.)

    Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie crust.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 425°.

    Turn oven temperature down to 350° and continue baking for 30 minutes or until done.
