  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light Karo syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. pecans

    Mix altogether except pecans.

    Add pecans last.

    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Reduce heat to 325° when you put pie in.

    Bake 1 hour.
