  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. white Karo syrup or pancake syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. pecan meats, chopped
  • 1/2 c. whole pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 raw pie crust

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and salt.

    Add well-beaten eggs, syrup, nuts and vanilla.

    Mix well and put in raw pie shell.

    Bake at 300° for 1 hour (approximately); do not overbake.
