  • 3/4 c. white Karo
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1/3 c. rum
  • pie shell, baked

Directions

    Mix corn syrup and sugar; add butter and bring to boil over medium heat.

    Add beaten eggs and vanilla, slowly.

    Stir in pecans.

    Remove from heat and add rum slowly.

    Pour into 9 inch baked pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
