- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely broken
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Directions

1Boil sugar and syrup about 2 minutes.

2Pour slowly over beaten eggs, stirring vigorously.

3Add margarine, vanilla and nuts.

4Pour into unbaked crust.

5Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

6Reduce temperature to 350° and bake for 40 minutes.
