  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (white)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together, adding pecans last.

    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

    Preheat oven to 450° and bake pie 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 40 to 50 minutes.

    Filling will be firm and crusty with pecans on top when done.
