  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or pecan halves
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 stick melted butter

    Mix sugar, syrup and melted butter.

    Add beaten eggs and vanilla.

    Add pecans.

    Pour into 9-inch pie shell.

    Bake 10 minutes at 400°.

    Reduce oven temperature to 350° and bake 35 minutes until done.
