- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/3 stick butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Beat eggs somewhat, not extensively.

2Add sugar and Karo. Heat liquid in double boiler until ingredients are well-blended (hot, but not very hot).

3Add butter or margarine and remove from heat.

4Allow liquid to cool.

5Add vanilla.

6Pour chopped nuts in pie shell and add cooled liquid filling.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
