- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans, coarsely broken
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Preheat oven at 350°.

2Boil sugar and syrup together for about 2 minutes.

3Pour slowly over slightly beaten eggs, stirring vigorously.

4Add butter or margarine, vanilla and nut meats.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell.

6Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
