  • 1/4 c. butter (no more)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup (Karo)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)

Directions

    Cream butter to soften.

    Add sugar; beat well.

    Add eggs, syrup and salt.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean.
