- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and butter.

2Bring to a boil over low heat.

3Pour hot syrup over beaten eggs.

4Let cool.

5Add vanilla and pecans.

6Pour in pie shell.

7Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° for 35 to 40 minutes longer.
