  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup and butter.

    Bring to a boil over low heat.

    Pour hot syrup over beaten eggs.

    Let cool.

    Add vanilla and pecans.

    Pour in pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° for 35 to 40 minutes longer.
