Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. corn meal
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 or 2 c. pecans
  • pie crusts

Directions

    Mix well.

    Pour into pie crusts.

    Pecans may be in batter or spread on top of pies.

    Bake until brown and firm, 30 or 40 minutes, at 350°, then reduce to 300° for 15 minutes until done. Makes 2 pies.
