  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecan halves
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    In medium bowl, beat together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.

    Arrange pecans on bottom of pie shell. Carefully pour egg mixture over pecans.

    Bake on bottom rack of preheated 400° oven until knife inserted near center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.

    Cool on rack.
