  • 3 eggs (5 for 3 pies)
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • unbaked shallow pie shells

Directions

    Beat eggs and sugar.

    Add syrup; mix well.

    Add all other ingredients (except pie shells).

    Add a dab of butter.

    Sprinkle nuts with flour.

    Bake 50 minutes at 300° in unbaked pie shell. Double all ingredients except use 5 eggs and it will make 3 pies.
