  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 c. (1 bottle) Karo pancake syrup
  • 2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 4 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening.

    Add eggs, flour, salt, vanilla, almond extract and syrup.

    Pour into 3 unbaked pie shells.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until filling is firm.
