  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.

    Spread nuts in bottom of shell.
  3. 3
    Pour filling on this. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350° and bake 25 minutes more.
