- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. melted butter
- 1/4 tsp. cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 c. Karo light syrup
- 2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat together sugar, butter, cornstarch and salt.

2Add well beaten eggs, syrups, pecans and vanilla.

3Pour into uncooked pie shells.

4Cook at 275° for 1 hour.

5Makes 2 pies.

6Check occasionally to see that the mixture is not getting too firm.
