  • 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs, beaten with whisk
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecan halves
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

    Beat eggs.

    Beat next 4 items together; then add to eggs.

    Let stand for 5 minutes.

    Spread pecan halves in unbaked pie crust. To the other mixture (eggs, syrup, etc.) add 3 tablespoons butter. Pour over pecans.

    Bake 10 minutes at 350° and 50 minutes at 300°.
