- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. corn meal
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Line a 9-inch pan with pastry 1/8 inch thick.

2Combine ingredients, adding pecans last.

3Pour into pastry shell.

4Bake in hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer or until a silver knife inserted in center of filling comes out clear.
