  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs well.

    Add Karo syrup, sugar, butter, salt and vanilla.

    Place nuts on bottom of crust.

    Pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake until knife inserted into the center of pie comes out clean, about 30 to 40 minutes.
